Most of the part-time employees have been turned into permanent immature children because they’re on their parents insurance until 26. These kids lose a whole decade almost fooling around before they get serious, and even then they don’t know what to do anymore. Elections have consequences that don’t show up for many years. Have you met any of the new PT Union members? Most are too young or too old for a delivery drivers job at UPS or are hard core unemployable or can't wait financially for a FT job to open up. Contracts have consequences.

Why would I want to go backwards? I can make more money working PT.

Perhaps but you’re talking about many years ago even before me. There was a shift in adulthood and responsibility that came from the top. In the early to mid 2000s that we are now beginning to feel. This generations ambitions have been seriously damaged.

None here. The last one that worked doing ground 30 days in a 90 day period, was made a 22.4 because there was obviously a need for one.

Those come and go, they can’t seem to make up their mind if they want them or not. Although Moving most of the letter boxes to 5 PM certainly helped that.

Not many qualified drivers will work for $15/hr for 3 hours a day.

Still have a couple customers that ship pharmaceuticals and want late pick ups, The company is not sure what to do with those.

Starting air driver wage is $15/hr with a 4 year progression. How many qualified drivers will stick around to make top rate?

I believe that's the starting rate for a newly hired air driver.

That was also another big give back , changing the progression from 2..4 years.
