To quote my neighbor's 20 something year old son.

"Time to watch a few old, rich white people complain about how old, rich white people are ruining America."

Loved it!

Clinton had the most to lose and pretty much kept it together so you could make the case that she won by not losing. I thought O'malley probably did the most to advance himself.

I agree with you that Clinton played not to lose so did little to help or hurt herself. Bernie is consistent and while some may not agree with him on issues he doesn't flip flop like Hillary. The rest were just placeholders hoping for a shot at VP. None of them helped themselves much but Chafee looked really bad in my opinion.

Annoy a liberal today. Hit them with facts.
You are in fact, literally, clueless.
Oh?

Was there a bigger socialist/communist on stage?

No.

My statement stands true.

And you apparently do not like to be called out supporting socialist/communist.

Embarrassed?

The founding Fathers gave us a country of individual freedoms and rights, and you support trading that for total government control.

You should be embarrassed.

And what did USSR stand for?

There is no difference between socialism and communism.

They both are for total government control.
Since Dave disagrees with this, USSR stands for Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.

Do you see the word CO!MMUNIST in there?

What's embarrassing is your reading comprehension.

All I posted was that I thought Sanders did the best in the debate.

The rest your ranting is just dribble.

Sanders was all Bernie but some of his views are beyond left field. The greatest enemy the US faces is global warming? He is almost libertarian on some other issues but to his credit he never leaves any doubt where he stands on issues. I agree Bernie made the biggest impression either good or bad depending on whether you agree with him.

Cooper did ask some surprisingly direct questions especially to Hillary but he let her get away with evasion and not answering.

The whole debate did seem structured to let Hillary play it safe.

Since you are a socialist/communist, you would think Sanders would do the best.

Myself, being a conservative, thought they all sucked eggs.

Of course, that's not what Bernie Sanders said. The question was "What is the biggest National security threat facing the United States?'

Sanders shares his opinion with the Pentagon. It is not an outlandish position whatsoever.

We have the military might to face Russia, China, Islamic extremists and any other 'enemy' and be victorious. The increasing threat from climate change dwarfs all of those.

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper said on Sunday’s episode of Reliable Sources on CNN that he is preparing more substantive and less confrontational debate questions than the type Jake Tapper asked Republicans during the network’s GOP presidential debate.

I’m always uncomfortable with that notion of setting people up in order to kind of promote some sort of a face-off. I think these are all serious people. This is a serious debate. They want to talk about the issues. And I want to give them an opportunity to do that,” said Cooper according to The Chicago Tribune.

CNN Reportedly Planning Less-Confrontational Format for Democratic Debate

For those who watched the debate, how'd this work out?

RB1 and oldngray. What do you disagree with? Don't you think we have a military that is unsurpassed? Don't agree with the pentagon's assessments?

Or just like to disagree?

If the founding fathers gave us individual freedoms, then why does a woman have to fight for her right to choose & a same sex couple the right to marry?

I disagree with global warming being a threat, or even being real.

Our military may be the best, or may not.

As a vet, I think I can make that call.

We are for sure not the largest military.

And I have no clue to how China has advanced in technology wise since they have all the factories that make everything now.
