Saves on medical costs associated with early retirees. Another factor with forcing members to work to age 65 under the Central snd Southern is that Central States has to start paying out for any credit years. This saves the Company money a ton of money by reducing it’s pension obligation,

Really both parties win... no so for those expecting to get out with a decent pension benefit.
