22.3 advice

Are 22.3 jobs worth trying to get?
I work in a 24hour hub. I sort on Twi. I know it can be a wait to even get your name pulled especially since I only have 1.5 years seniority atm. There are some guys that are 22.3 that unload on my shift then load on mid which sounds like a horrible combo. Do they tell you the second job when the offer comes up?

Most of our 22.3 jobs are load or unload on Midnight and load or unload on preload with an hour and a half or more break between sorts.

I handle every area I've gotten put in.

I've been able to handle every area I've been put in. But some areas I don't want to deal with the b.s that comes with it

Yeah it seems that's the case at the hub I'm at. Unless you get car wash spot on mid. But those guys aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

I do agree with that. I deal with alot in my main area. But that's mainly due to my sup.

We had a driver who just scored a 22.3
Had about 8 years FT seniority. He was shocked he got the call. I know they are no OT. 8 and skate every day. Not for me. I love me OT

You're going to be waiting a couple decades. We put up a 22.3 bid in my center middle of last year. I think the whole center signed. Pretty sure even my FT signed it

If they like you you'll get it faster over other seniority people.. It has happened. But like the other folks said most likely you'll be waiting awhile.
