The cartels of Mexico are terrorists, they use terror attacks to gain political power. They post snuff films to show what happens if you go against them.

Go check out the funky town cartel snuff film. Those people are real rays of sunshine up there with taliban levels of heinous violence.

No we haven’t. You declare these cartels terrorists. Trump considered it and then Mexico changed their tune pretty quick and started working to secure that :censored2:ing border. Biden undid all that.
Arizona is thinking about doing it. The AG said the state has the right to send in the guard.

USA has surrendered to druggies.....long ago. If you can't beat them.....join them.

legalized gambling
legalized prostitution
legalized drugs
legalized numbers rackets
legalized loan sharking
legalized extortion
legalized protection rackets

so I guess the organized crime went mainstream when the G could not stop them.

Cartels are too big to fear state governments that can’t take action directly against them in Mexico. Constitution gives that power to the federal government.

If their convoys started getting drone striked, if their family’s mansions started getting drone striked, if they couldn’t take their lambo out for a spin without getting drone striked, they would start to fear the US government and know we are off limits, our border is off limits there is no profit to be made when you and your family is getting drone striked to death.

That would be to de-facto declare war on Mexico.
The potential for irony, and unintended consequences is very thought provoking.

I can see how such actions would have much more of an effect than anything done so far.

They said they can treat them as invaders. They’re saying they don’t need the governments permission to prevent these bastards by any means. Short of invading Mexico. But they are on our soil.

They can certainly act on those coming into their state but I honestly don’t see that making much of a difference. The cartels of Mexico are pretty interesting to learn about, it’s been a while so I’ll have to refresh myself. From what I’ve seen the Mexican military might be up for a military dictatorship back by US to stop the cartels. At the same time one of the most violent cartels is ex Mexican special forces trained by the army in guerilla warfare to fight the cartels. Hard to tell how serious the military is about stopping the cartels or if they are just trying to seize a bigger share of the government sanctioned drug trade in mexico.

It’s perfectly fine to show compassion to drug users and run state run rehab programs for them, maybe even employment opportunities incentives.

But you’ll never win this war purely defensively on our soil.

Yes the War on Drugs tried all that. Ttku son....
The problem with how we fought the war before was working hand and hand with the cartels to defeat the cartels. You can’t work with the Mexican government to achieve this. Look at how their election work lol. Very violent stuff.

The drug cartels hurt legitimate businesses in Mexico. They keep the country from being able to create a real government, wasting endless lives and money fighting amongst themselves.
It’s hard to want to invest in a country like that when you will guaranteed end up extorted by the cartels and they suck every dollar out of your family. An iron fisted military dictatorship like the one under Pinochet is the only way I see achieving a truly independent economy in Mexico and freeing the people from the cartels.
A lot of Mexicans feel this way, their situation is :censored2:ing hopeless without a drastic change. Many wish for a very strong leader and almost 50% of the country wouldn’t mind going under military rule again.

That’s how bad :censored2: is there.

Wherever there is a demand, the supply will be there. No matter what you think is possible by a war on drugs/ cartels, the supply will always be there. Ttku homie....

Not really. Some drugs can be legalized with little increase in crime or drug deaths probably less than alcohol even. But there are drugs people should be executed for spreading into US communities. Heroin and meth dealers should swing in the public square. You get caught selling that :censored2: or attempting to bring it in we should expedite your execution. Hell maybe let border patrol handle it out in the desert.
