I don't know, we all complain about how Presidential candidates that campaign on one thing and then mostly follow what the last guy did. Instead of secret societies and complex conspiracies, it's really all about Nepotism!
On a serious note however, one thing my wife does in law is geneology in which linage to property is in dispute. One thing I've learned over the years is that we are not as far removed from one another as we might think we are. There is a little bit of truth to the idea of 6 Degrees of Separation. In fact, you yourself could at some point be of royal extraction. But then so could most everyone else who read this post too!
And for the record, royal decent and a few bucks gets a cup of coffee at the store so there you go!
