Former Trump campaign lawyer Jenn Ellis stood in front of the judge hearing her case today bawling her eyes out blaming someone else for her predicament, including lamenting the fact that she received no financial help from pro Trump donors and that her Go Fund Me campaign only raised $216,000 in legal assistance support.....all while pleading guilty.....But rejoice! She says that she recently found Jesus and is now born again.

Poor thing....She's had it so hard.

She will “cooperate with prosecutors in future proceedings, serve five years of probation, pay $5,000 in restitution and write a letter of apology.
Charged under the RICO Act, but another one who pleads guilty with only a slap on the wrist.

If the state prosecutor is allowing everyone to plead guilty to lesser charges, other than what they were indicted with.
That says a lot of their "proof" is not worthy of the greater charges.
This case could disappear before a trial evens starts.

Why do you think the defendants agree to plead guilty to lesser charges in exchange for their testimony/cooperation against the bigger fish defendants?

This is not justice, it's a fishing expedition.
If the state had solid evidence, they would not have had anyone plead out to a lesser charge in order to "find" new evidence.

They want to help humanity?

Defendants make a judgment regarding whether they believe the prosecution could convict them of what they were originally charged with based on the evidence the prosecution already has.

That’s how prosecutors always deal with crime syndicates.

They are allowed to plead guilty to lesser charges in agreement to testify against Trump.
This is a very common tactic used in RICO cases against Mob Bosses.
