Aw yes the Padres. The farm system for the rest of the league. If they get him they will trade him in 3 years and pay for most of his remaining contract to play for the Yankees or someone.

It's nice. Good time and really no bad seats. The other thing is, because their team is never really that good. They brought in a ton of good beer vendors and food vendors.
I recommend it if you ever get the chance.

I’ve only seen the padres play at Philly and Baltimore.
Both those stadiums are nice.

Unfortunately I never got to see Tony Gwynn play in person. That’s the reason I became a Padres fan in the first place.

Met him a few times delivering. Super nice guy. He loved to talk to fans about baseball. Literally saw him a few times, stop what he was doing just to talk with a fan.

I’ll believe it when I see it but that would be better.
I also heard they want him around to help mentor the Latino players they have coming up. Uhhhhh yeah have Machado be your team mentor....what could go wrong.
I wonder if they put something about his bad attitude, dirty play, and questionable hustle, in his contract to keep him in check. lol
