I think the X Box thing was a world wide recall for a manufacturer defect. That's why we deliver the empty box to the cust, ship back to the mfr and return the fixed product.

As far as gaming, I still like the old nintendo. I'm about to get the old system from Play N Trade so my girls can play the same old games I played.

Start pre-ordering your new call of duty game, this by far is the best war game ever created. I bought the ps3 because of the blue ray dvd player, i cant believe that when i was a kid i had pong and does anyone else remember the football game were you were a little light and had to dodge the other lights?

I wish i was a kid today!

I had to peddle my big wheel now they can go 5mphs without even peddling!

Sometimes you need to stop thinking and know a little. Many of the XBOX's have had a lot of problems and get what the kids call the "3 rings of death". When the XBOX came out it came with a 1 yer warranty. after numerous complaints they extended their warranty to 3 years. As oart of their warranty program they send out the empty boxes for hte customer to repack the XBOX in to be sent back. No recall was ever made my Microsoft.

I deliver to a Gamestop and I can always tell when there is a new game being released or a new system as there is always a line of people waiting outside. My store doesn't open til 10 and we have to have them delivered by noon so I usually get there around 9:45 and they are always nice about opening the door for me. The gamers don't like that I get to go in early but then again I think they need to get a life.

Pardon me for misunderstanding this whole process. I was simply stating what someone told me at GameStop. I guess I should have researched the whole thing on the internet. Now I would have done that, except, everytime I get on the internet I decide to look at what's new on BC. After doing this I suddenly realize it's 12 midnight and I need to go to sleep.

Forgive me for entering your realm and attempting to spout gamer knowledge without having all my facts straight. I stand corrected.:peaceful:

I shall ponder your suggestion. Didn't know there was such a problem with the xbox. Thanks.:wink2:

We have the XBox, XBox360, PS1, PS2, PSP, wii, GameCube, etc. and plan on buying PS3 for my son for Christmas. I personally don't play with any of them. The last console gaming I did was when I had Sega Genesis and a friend and I were addicted to Madden football.

I was huge in PC gaming for several years. It started with Warcraft, than Warcraft II. I played Warcraft III but lost interest before I finished it. I liked the game Rune. I was into a game called Starsiege. I totally geeked out on that one, even joining a game squad. Though it was a blast in the beginning I learned there can be politics to gaming and it kind of left me bitter and I have not been involved in organized gaming since.

My favorite game of all time though is the Diablo series. I have played them all and I will start playing again when Diablo III comes out.

The most fun I ever had gaming though was in high school playing Risk and Axis and Allies with my friends while we drank beer. Nothing like good ole board games and suds!

Today, "board games are bored games"............according to the grandson. I'm out of the loop, so I just get gift cards from Game Stop and he buys what he wants. :wink2:

I'm a Nascar 2003 Racing Season by Sierra/Papyrus gamer. It was by far the best Nascar simulator on the market. Nascar sold the rights to EA Sports that year so 2003 was the last year for the game. It was so good and realistic that people still play that game and designers have created new tracks, cars, etc. to this day. Heck, the game sells for over $100 on E-bay now. I'd love to race in an online league but I don't know if I could sit in this chair for a whole 500 mile race.

Played NR2003 since the beginning till about a year ago. Best simulation game I have ever played. Competed in a few competitive leagues over the years too.
I also painted cars for teamhyperspeed.com, which is no longer up and running.:sad-little: One of the BEST sites for painting is http://www.masgrafx.com/masgrafxracing/. May have to get back into painting agiain...Sure miss it sometimes :sad-little:
