The more of you idiots who refuse to get it the better. That just means I can get mine sooner. Heard on the news today that workers who have to work and deal with the public (ring a bell?) will probably be next on the list after health care workers.

You old and frail people should get it before young, healthy people. We need you off the public liability ledger as soon as possible.

I am considered high-risk for COVID-19 due to having Asthma and a minor immunity disorder.
After speaking to my doctor, it was recommended that I wait and see how the vaccine affects others who have similar health concerns.
I'll continue to wear a mask until then.
Good plan.
I've discussed with my doctor and he gung-ho whenever my category (I'm fat, dumb, diabetic and over 65) get's the chance.
He has already taken it.

Serious questions, if this is the most ethical decision, wouldn't everyone in your situation be told the same thing by their doctor? Then, if no one with your combination of factors gets the vaccine, and there is never any data to inform anyone that it's safe for people like you, and some subsequently contract covid-19, and die, who's responsible for that?

On the otherhand, if the people in your situation are brave enough to get the vaccine, and have complications, who would be responsible for that?

Don't worry, I have it on the good authority of the denizens of this forum that all vaccines are safe, perform as promised every time, and no vaccine has ever hurt anyone in any way. To believe otherwise is to be an anti-science, anti-vaxxer, conspiracy theorist nut job.

Several people are dealing with allergic reactions to this rushed vaccine. There are several people who have had allergies to specific vaccines in the past. I have had most vaccines without any problems. But, we aren't talking about other vaccines -- we are talking about the COVID-19 vaccine specifically.

And I was not in the testing group for the vaccine -- as most people who were in the group fell in specific categories. Those older than 40+ and children under the age of 10.

Ok, but the question still remains, if everyone with your risk factors is in wait and see mode, how will there ever be data to know it is safe for you?

There are 7.8. Billion people on the planet and I'm not the only with an immunity disorder or asthma.

There will be people with similar concerns who will get approved by their doctors for the vaccine, and when my doctor sees results I will get it.

It's been a nearly a year since COVID-19 has been ramped in and I haven't contracted it because I am social distancing and wearing a mask. 😘
Even while working at UPS.

So the strategy is to wait until enough other people have doctors who are more reckless with their health than yours is before deciding it's safe? Sounds good. Pretty much my strategy, except I won't end up getting the vaccine anyway.

Be careful with posting that "evidence" that vaccines can harm people. It'll get you labeled anti-science.

And my lucky rabbit's foot has kept me from getting tuberculosis, so I feel you on the masking and social distancing. Keep up the good work!

* A superstition is "a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation" or "an irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition."

I am not superstitious. :raspberry:

Just don't you act all surprised when this Covid stuff becomes a yearly thing thanks to non-vaccers
I do like that companies will be able to adjust mRNA vaccines for new strains pretty quickly if it does become a yearly thing. Pretty cool science.

The amount of people taking this vaccine is scary to me.

You people realize the government likes to create a problem that only the government can fix right? They want you subjugated.

If the mask works so well then why do I need one if you're wearing one.

If the vaccine works so well then why do I need one when you are vaccinated.

I will not live in fear

Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

The nurses and doctors are making videos and posting them to china owned tiktok on American taxpayer dime during a "pandemic" which forces smalls businesses to close but doubles corporate profits.

The seasonal flu has been a "yearly thing" for how long?
People line up like mindless cattle to get a foreign substance injected into them that,. apparently, isn't effective because the flu is still around after, again, how many years?

Does anyone really, really think that any deaths/enduring illness caused by this new, inproved, fast lane vaccine will be widely reported? Really?

Hope this helps.
