Are you really that dense? Of course they aren't going to send social workers. But if you defund the police enough the time may come when YOU are in desperate need of their help and they're spread too thin to get to you in time. Buy a clue. Of course you don't believe in your well groomed neighborhood that time will ever come and like the true liberal you are don't give a about those who live in less secure neighborhoods(as long as they keep voting Democrat).

The evidence suggests they don’t. They are really bad at solving cases and arresting people. Most crime goes unreported anyway. They just aren’t very good at maintaining an orderly society. But at least they shoot poor people at traffic stops, so they got that going for them.
