Base/PE Reductions

There are rumors of company wide Base/PE staffing reductions coming in a few months. It sounds like CBRE will be taking over the work from these reductions. Rumors are some full time PE supervisors and all PT supervisors in the department are being eliminated. Maybe a few managers also. Anyone else hearing any rumblings?

I heard the same thing. Part Time Sups going away. I heard smaller buildings will no longer have a FT Supervisor assigned to them, it would all be outsourced...

CBRE were kicked out of Europe. It was the biggest screw up you could ever imagine. Massive cost increases and service disappeared.

CBRE is terrible here also. I remember hearing something about a 5 year contract UPS had with CBRE. Rumors are UPS is staffing the call center that will be used for all extended centers with full time specialists. They may cut ties with CBRE when the 5 years is up.

Yes, I know I'm working late.
If your job is cut, it's not needed. No different than routes being cut from day to day. Management needs to realize we are not in the management employment business. We are in the package delivery business. If management jobs are cut, suck it up and find a job elsewhere. Hourly people get no mercy, so why feel sorry for a chair spinning bafoon that begs to work from home in their pajamas? Answer that......
