Corporate social tithing should go for apprenticeship and or skills development period. The plantation is being maintained through foundations and community nanny organizations.

Please stop your killing us. Really just stop

AND THAT’S THE BOTTOM LINE
I hate to be bleak, but nobody is going to do anything about it....we, Americans, are gone. So far gone. We all align ourselves with specific lines of thinking and immediately attack those who disagree with that specific line of thinking. We don’t converse, we don’t share ideas and attempt to improve....we just attack.
I have some food for thought though.
Millennials, younger; we get a lot of flack for our propensity to be apathetic; depression, anxiety, mental issues rampant. I had my own mental heath journey to go through, and it took a long time to accept that I needed help, mostly because of the stigma attached. Can’t tell you how many times I heard
You’re just lazy
There’s nothing wrong with you
Just gotta get a good job
I grew up studying journalism, and immersed myself in the dark secrets of the world. We are the first internet generation; I was 7 in 1996 when my dad brought home our first pc with America online.
My entire life, I’ve dug on the web, seeking truth, finding some answers, but mostly discovering more questions to ask.
When you discover how truly far gone this country is; how corrupt we are at every single level of local and federal government; how rigged the system is to keep the poor down and protect the rich; it is depressing.
When you realize that many Americans are not interested in REALLY improving anything; only in protecting their own specific social and political affiliations, it’s depressing.
Older generations are mostly blind to this stuff, because they don’t have the natural propensity to search for truth, like we do. So they assume we are all just a bunch of spoiled, worthless losers.
Which some of us certainly are, which I certainly have been in the past
HOWEVER; these older gens fail to realize that we have grown up knowing the truth, knowing that we are playing a rigged game, observing that environment getting worse, experiencing violent wage to cost of living fluctuation.
Maybe, older generations are the worthless ones? You know, for never doing a damn thing to stop how corrupt our country has become???

You didn't waste your money on a journalism degree, it shows. Bravo on your own personal journey and the wisdom that grew from it.

You need to save your father from the belly of the beast.

Dad’s a teacher, 3 masters degrees, the smartest dude I know. He doesn’t need saving. Maybe he can save you???

Sorry, I wasn't being insulting. It's a metaphor, or possibly an allegory, that has a direct relation to the issues you brought up. I thought it might be an odd enough thing to say to get you to look it up so I wouldn't have to type out the whole explanation, since I couldn't really do it justice anyway.

Went right over my head!! But I know what you’re referring to....
I decided a long time ago to take care of myself and make myself my number one priority. And just try to be a good, decent dude. Right now that is my lot in life. I have been feeling the pull....to do some writing, to do SOMETHING. But I don’t know exactly what that means yet.
I’m pretty happy right now just being financially stable and working my ass off. Hanging out with my girlfriend, enjoying my close friends....life is what you make it and surround yourself with every day
Someday, somehow, I will have something to say, and I will say it

I completely agree. For everything there is a season. Life is hard enough that just getting by is about all any decent person can manage most of the time. The problem is that there are people actively undermining that very way of life that we all struggle to maintain. Just read through rickyb's posts to see what these people are really after. And we subsidize their activities with their welfare payments. The evidence is screaming in our faces right now.

Towards the end of fighting back against the chaos, I always encourage people to follow their creative calling. Some don't know what their's is. You're lucky, you know what you need to do. Start small, write whenever you can, even if it is absolute garbage. Make it a priority, then, when you have something to say, you will be ready to say it.

So, I interpreted this to mean that Corps should spend their money on training and educating minorities (and Whites) on developing skills needed in the Information Age jobs.
Many Engineering based companies have been doing this for years through their Coop Programs.
I like this idea, even if that is not what you meant.

All honest efforts (money and time), from philanthropic organizations should be directed to increase opportunity to aquire skills. Individual self-worth will flow from the pride of talent.
The satisfied man is occupied with the pursuit of excellence.

So why would I march for the destruction of freedom? But the insecure man demands the government provide for his psychological needs. But yet we all perish.
