Over the years the rust proofing has gotten much better , but yes the salt kills the cars , they pretreat the roads now with chemicals and a lot of places not allowed to use salt (epa). But cars arnt rotting as bad as they once were

ONG doesn't seem to have any problems.
We got a very slushy inch or two so far which pretty much melted on contact. We are supposed to get 3-6" tonight and then 1-3" tomorrow.
