Over the years the rust proofing has gotten much better , but yes the salt kills the cars , they pretreat the roads now with chemicals and a lot of places not allowed to use salt (epa). But cars arnt rotting as bad as they once were

I agree about cars being better protected for corrosion. We just deal with road salt here, but I'd do my best not to drive through sea water and splash that into every nook and cranny.

You can be saved Lol

Trust me, my good Catholic wife gave up years ago.

fortunately I’m far enough away from coast not to get salted every storm , buddy lost his car in January, seawall let go and temp dropped. His car was frozen on the steeet in 3’ sea water

I believe so ,, that’s was Revere mass , which is the oldest public beach in the US , there was an amusement park there from late 1800’s to 1978 when a blizzard took what was left of it
