If the FBI is investing that means they will probably trace Hunter to the transaction with the computer shop. Also I read that there were some compromising images of Hunter on the main drive. The owner happened to get little nervous about the fallout over this and started to double guess himself, human nature.

It is very plausible that Hunter did turn in several computers for repair. Drugs makes you do stupid things.

I have no idea what has been done at the new York post. You have no idea what has been done at the new York post. I have relayed the new York post's own statement on the matter of verification. Along with that certain aspects I think are relevant to their investigation or lack thereof of the evidence in their possession.

The FBI being involved proves the FBI is involved. That's pretty much all we know. The FBI is largely independent and it's current director was confirmed by members of both parties. I think the FBI investigation of Hillary and public statement around the time of the 2016 election proves they are independent. I also think the no charges, no report in the "unmasking" probe proves they operate independently from the Whitehouse. I'd prefer to believe the FBI is not compromised and no evidence has changed my mind yet.
