Not my fault that your dissertation overlooked the Neutrality Act. With a unemployment rate of 25% FDR had to act including the creation of the Civilian Conservation Corps. And while we're at it lets look at their numbers:
125,000 miles of roadway built.
89,000 miles of telephone lines erected
13,100 miles of trails created
40 million acres of farmland protected through the construction of erosion and sedimentation controls .
154 million square yards of lake and stream embankment stabilization.
814,000 acres of range revegetation.
800 state parks built.
52,000 acres of public campgrounds built
3 billion trees planted
3,470 fire towers erected.
97,000 miles of fire roads built.

All done by a bunch of kids busting ass for a dollar a day. 30 bucks a month and 25 of it sent back home to their starving families. Then off to World War II they marched . Oh sure, we didn't need to do that. We could have done a Hoover and simply waited for the economy to recover on it's own but after 3 years of Hoover it hadn't come back and the American people by that time had enough of Hoover just as they did last month and made it clear that they had enough of Trump.

all that did nothing to pull us out of the depression. FDR became president in 1933 . WWII pulled us out of the depression in 1941

looking at your post though you mike like living in North Korea. they have a lot of similar make work programs going on there.

Not only did he wait, he knew Pearl Harbor was going to happen, and that letting it happen was the only way to get support for going to war.

But Trump downplayed a virus that has a fatality rate on par with most other viruses we don't freak out about so as not to cause panic and he's the liar? Forced Narrative Media lies about everything constantly, especially things Trump says and does, and there's no accountability.

Isolated blame. Many politicians downplayed the virus at the same time Trump was doing so. the last pandemic of this type was a 100 years ago. you can't forget what you never learned.

If that's the case he'll still be forever titled a president and will still be around with his big mouth :)

But he isn't going anywhere, and I'm looking forward to your tears the most
Have fun circle jerking with your eternal king in Trumpistan, you loyal patriot.

This isn't even close to that pandemic. Wait 'til we hit 100,000,000 dead, then we can start comparing. There was no need to downplay this pandemic, except to counter the hysteria created by the media/"experts" lying about how bad it is.

This pandemic has killed close to 300,000 Americans, approaching half of what the 1918 pandemic death toll, when the understanding of infectious pathogens and the tools to study them were still in their infancy.

I'd say it's worse, given our medical knowledge, and the evolving treatment of COVID patients. Modern medicine is amazing.

675, 000 US fatalities. Covid might match that.
