I remember when Mitsubishi made a lot of cars that were rebranded for other companies.

I knew a gal who drove a Mitsubishi. It was ALWAYS in for some kind of repair. I sure looked nice but it was a POS. Kind of like my Volkswagen.

They were notorious for neat, but tempermental, technology.

Oil change $1,00? New tires every 20,000 miles $12,000?
Engine out service $8,000 every year?
And if the a/c goes out or it has a coolant leak once out of warranty...

Back when I was a car guy I never really bothered with looking at cars like that. I was only interested in cars I could actually buy. But now I don't even like and simply wouldn't buy pretty much anything currently on the market so now it's time to admire the ones like that the same way I would a building or monument.

Coincidentally watched the 2001 Diablo one earlier today.

Not only new tires, but wheels as well.
Stig burned up a set of tires on a Bugatti in only 6 laps around the Top Gear track I think he said in an interview.
