Doesn't the catholic church use the same bible that you do?
No.
When they do, they won’t find the Catholic Church, the practices, the teachings, the dogma. They will find warnings and prophesies of the apostasy of the New Testament Church which began In Jerusalem in Act 2 in 33 AD
300 years later and until now, the false doctrines and man made religion continue.

My bad. I was under the assumption that the bible was the word of your god. Must be open to interpretation?
I think the Bible warns quite a bit about wolves in sheep‘s clothing using his word. But it also says you will know them by their fruit. It takes some discernment and knowledge

Interpretation is wide open which means:
Only one can be the correct interpretation.
Two different interpretations cannot be correct. Only one.
Two different interpretations of a text cannot be the correct interpretation. They both can be wrong, but both cannot be right.
Interpretations are wide open. To think one is as right as another is impossible.

Just a note… It is helpful to know a little bit about something before you interpret.
If you decide to take a look, try finding the catholic church written there. Good luck.

You use the Bible to interpret itself. There can be differences of opinion on some things but not of the fundament gospel of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

So the fundamentals of the gospel is the only thing subject interpretation?
Everything else is up for opinion and is ok with God?

Churches are allowed to have differences in doctrine over issues not clearly expressed in the Bible. I may disagree with someone else about them but won't say he will go to Hell over a side issue.

For instance the Old Testament was written for the church but not to the church so shouldn't be used as the basis for Christan doctrine.

I'm getting vibes here that the catholics are nuts. My son dated a baptist for a few years and from what I understood from her they're in the same boat as the catholics.
So what religion do you all adhere to?

Baptists and catlicks are not in the same boat. Not even in the same ocean.
