How many PPP loans were repaid?
You tell me? Not sure why you would equate our government, which has a lot more money than Greece, forgiving loans given during the pandemic shutdown to assist small businesses, with Greece borrowing huge sums to pay for its created social benefits and needing to continue to borrow to maintain them, yet not even having the money to even service the debt? Our program was trying to keep businesses afloat while theirs was designed to let citizens retire early with gold plated benefits.

Our government has no money. Just trillions in IOUs.

Our government pulls in over $4.5 trillion in tax revenue every year. Not the point. You're comparing a one off program to assist small businesses during a pandemic to a country that borrowed way beyond its means to pay back the loans or even service its debt. I'm not getting what you're trying to justify here. You seem to be defending Greece for providing fantastic benefits they couldn't pay for while at the same time attacking the U.S. for providing some relief in a crisis. You can't have it both ways. Greece was terribly irresponsible, and I'll concede that our government has been also. We need to rein in spending and pay down our debt because with the rise in interest rates just servicing the debt costs over a trillion a year. Not sustainable to keep on with the deficit spending.

cuts right to our death
You mean the cuts that didn’t actually take effect until after the disaster happened?
