Five of the 10 biggest publicly traded companies in Georgia say they have suspended political campaign giving in the wake of last week’s U.S. Capitol attacks.

Coca-Cola, UPS, Aflac, PulteGroup and WestRock are pausing contributions after making donations in 2020 to Republican candidates who recently supported unsubstantiated claims about widespread voter fraud and tried to stymie results that showed President Donald Trump lost his bid for a second term.

At least two dozen other major corporations nationally have temporarily halted political giving or decided to suspend making donations to elected officials who attempted to block the certification of Electoral College votes. Companies often make contributions through a PAC, or political action committee.

Polishing toilet bowls since 1966.
Well we know which side of the fence the UPS head honchos are riding.
Actual they have given to both republican and Democrat. It's great to see us as a company go back to the way we were in the 90's. Now if we can stop giving our money to the weasels that are the in between on the senators and congressmen.

IMHO Political contributions to specific parties or politicians adds to the lack of integrity in the American political system.

If above taxes, any company or individual that wants to make political contributions they should be allowed to do so, but IMO these contributions should go to a general fund that should help pay for individuals who can’t afford the minimum cost of a political campaign. This money should be awarded by need and application. Rich people should pay for their own campaigns

The rich Career Politicians of both Parties don’t represent the people America, they masquerade as representing the American people while actually representing themselves and their own personal interests.

Primarily the rich and rich businesses and businessmen (and women) who give them money to help them get elected.
