It's easy to find with Google but 60 Minutes did an extensive segment on it. Two segments on the same show if I remember right. Yes today's marijuana has been tweaked in labs to be much more potent than it was decades ago. That's the thing about legalization. Producers look for any advantage they can get over the competition.

I've read of people totally freaking out eating edibles. The really troubling part, among many, is pot is the drug of choice for millions of young adults and they may be doing irreparable harm to themselves. Cognitive impairment decades too early.

But the gains in potency, flavor, cannabanoids and any thing else has been done so far with breeding and back breeding just like for a tomato or grass seed variety. When Monsanto and Dow among others get involved look for the GMO’s

You don't get huge increases in THC without altering the genetics of the plant. Producers have been working just as diligently in labs to increase potency as anyone from Monsanto would with wheat or corn.

Do you want to discuss current events or do you just want to diss the forum? A forum by the way that's still up and running after a recent tragic set of events. Manned by people doing a thankless job for free. You can get about as heated as you want here as long as you don't cross a line. If you do the worst that can happen is a post can be deleted or you can get a time out to remind you to keep it reasonably civil. You've got to try really hard to be banned. It appears that's what you're trying to accomplish. Let it go. You're an adult, deal with it.

Most of us are here to grouse about the government and their supporters no matter who's in power. And a lot have fun with it posting memes that are truly funny. This isn't life or death and the moderators are doing a fine job in my book. You took exception to something and have turned the proverbial molehill into a mountain. I remember when you snapped at me for being snarky with Ricky but it wasn't too long before you were doing the same after you realized that he will never stop coming at you with his ideology no matter what you point out. A moderator said something you didn't like. And for some reason you seem to want to get him removed for it. Judging by some of your statements about government I'm sensing issues with authority. As Jesus told us don't worry about the speck in your brother's eye when you've got a log in your own. And yes my eyes are full of logs too.
