Is there contract language that states that union members cannot be forced by management to give damning statements against other union members? It's seems I once read that but can't seem to find it now.

The company can't force you to give any statements against a fellow member.

It's not contract language. What you are probably remembering is....

The members oath, as defined in the IBT constitution and your Local Union bylaws.

ART. II, SEC. 2

"to never knowingly harm a fellow member"

It's not in the NMA but is in our Teamster oath.

"Thou shall not bring reproach upon a fellow Member."
