Many of the most important stories of the 20th century have been reported by, and discussed on NPR.

I dont know of anyone that has died from the vaccine. Over a hundred friends,coworkers etc.
Unless VAERS has changed the information is not always verified. Years ago there was a story about someone turning in to VAERS that they turned into the Incredible Hulk.

It's a crime to file a false report to VAERS. That's why a majority of reactions go unreported.
