Traded him for a guy that was a total :censored2:up

More often than not the deal has already been made and going through the arbitration is just for show.

I can say this unequivocally for the record.

Out of the thousands of cases I've heard, and members I've represented.... not once was I even

approached to "cut a deal" or trade cases. I've sat on State Panels in both grievance and discharge cases.

My mentor (and still good friend) the retired President of my Local, warned me.... you do it once, and you're done.

You can never go back. I think any elected official that would do that, is a piece of :censored2:.

More often than not the deal has already been made and going through the arbitration is just for show.

More often than not....

It's just the labor department trying to protect the company from possible liability.

"Hey.... we tried to fire him. But, the panel put him back to work."

If they let you have your job back they are probably going to make you switch shifts, centers or buildings. They aren't going to let you work next to that supervisor.

I was wondering has anyone heard of deals being made prior to Arbitration for Harassment Cases?
Deals can and are cut during any part of the grievance process when one side, or the other, fears losing the case.

It's typically just that simple.

"Quid Pro Quo agents" are lazy and quickly exposed, and as @BigUnionGuy already explained forever tainted, making them easy targets in the three year local election process.
