Not gonna lie the job kicks my ass. My wrist hurts more than my back got a brace now. I loaded two of the package cars one day the rest of the time is unloading trucks. Everybody seems decent enough and it's not bad getting up at 3 am every day :clown: I'm still not sure if I ever want to be a driver I know they push that a lot and make good money but I'm told you have no life :thumbdown
No life?
What is it that you currently do that justifies you having a life?
What do you think you'll miss out on?
The couch will be there when you get off work.

My first couple days were hard as well. Now preload is kinda fun I think I'm gonna stick around a long time.

I mean it doesn't mean much when I can't see the family. From what I hear anyway
It is true you sacrifice some family time but a full time job helps you take care of your family on a high level not just financially but with a generous health, prescription and dental plan.
If you’re going to work for a living you may as well make it count.

I also did the first week. I was assigned to fill up 3 delivery truck everyday. Sometimes its hard to keep up especially when you are a new employee. You need to learn some tips and tricks and watch what others do. But there is no time for that, because if i am staring at what someone else is doing i am gonna fall behind and i dont like that at all. I think i am the best new hire in my hub. the other people have been assigned for 1 or 2 truck with a lower volume...

Hi ... the method I used for years and years ( retired now ) was to use a Nikken Magnet. Simply put it where it hurts. For example, as a driver there was a few times I crashed my knee really BAD .... I used a small Nikken Magnet and taped it on to my knee at night when I would sleep ... this always worked 100% of the time. It may take a few days to work ... but as long as you wear it ... you can tell. I do not sell it. I am not here to sell it..... just telling you what I did, cuz over the years I had several injuries ... but this worked so well, I never had a loss-time injury ....

Another example: my daughter who was 8 at the time was visiting me and was playing outside and tripped and fell ... hit her head when she hit the deck. Came in crying with a big lump on her forehead. I immediately got her to sit and just hold a "mini-mag" right on the lump. In 20 minutes the lump went down all the way ( she held it in place on the wound the whole time like I told her to do ) ! That was probably the fastest repair I ever saw with my own eyes ... but typical in effectiveness. The younger a person is ... the faster it works ... that is what I have noticed. Anyways ,,,, Hope this helps .... best of luck in your work --

PS ... the magnet I am talking about these days is called a Nikken KENKO PowerChip. These can be found on eBay by distributors who sell there ... or just go over the Corporate site .... just make sure ... if ... you go to corporate .. it is the real, actual site.

Jokes on me but ok. I said what i think.
Comparing to all new hires that i see, i get the hardest task out of all of them. when i see them working they are slow and lazy.
Other thing is that i am not american. I came from Europe and i know what hard work is. In my country minimum wage is about 2$ per hour and here i am doing my best for 15, is it gonna pay off i dont know, but i am trying
