Driver rate new years eve

I'm just trying to figure out why I got paid $13.50/hr on new years eve. Well it was just air and I guess that is the air driver rate but I definitely wouldn't have volunteered if I knew that's what I would be making. Would it make a difference if I volunteered or not and do they have to give me 8 hours if I want it?

You do not have the option to volunteer. All air drivers are forced to work. Depends on your management of course but by Art 40 you can be forced.
