Deranged lunatic
kid can certainly fax a paper for money but we all know better than to take video on the clock. here the local steward asks the sup after the shift yes/no and serves as the second witness. There is also a local agreement for the managers themselves to log their hours worked.

Any time you get called in the managers office. Record audio on your phone.
Don't go in the managera office with a steward and/or 2 other Union Employees.

Never speak to management without a steward present.

If Management is not wearing name tags identifying them as management, do not speak to them ever.

Idk but as a hourly I would advise other hourlys not to film sups. Management could spin that as stealing time.

But as a PT sup just do what a ft sup says. Do the grievances come out of your check? You are in a dead end job. Who gives a poo?

Not stealing time, you’re observing the supervisor doing work so it is argued the work is still being done. They are working in a breach of contract.

Just like if a new hire is being trained. They are to observe the supervisor work then demonstrate. They aren’t to work beside at the same time.

Allowing it to continue leads to inadequate staffing. Not grieving it makes reports look like a certain throughput can be achieved with a certain amount of employees. Supervisors are too busy working trying to hit their quotas in the short term, they’re screwing themselves in the long term.

You are not allowed to film.

Point it out to someone else who can witness.

Just because management is breaking the rules doesn't mean you won't get in trouble for also breaking the rules. Keep yourself out of trouble, and file on it the right way.

Film it with the Mark 1 eyeball of a witness.

Are you able to film management while also doing your assigned job?

No. You are not.

If you film management, and attempt to use that as proof, management will immediately go the "stealing time" route.

Probably the majority of the grievances I've ever presented as a steward have been supervisor working ones.
They are the easiest grievances in the world to win. Just get the steward to check if they exhausted all their options (They basically never do), and then have him help you fill out a grievance.

Witness, yes. Camera, no.
Don't give management anything to shoot at in retaliation.
