Well, I think you and I both would understand that actually hope for this so that they can go on a three year crusade against Trump because of it. It would be bad optics. Hopefully the marines are only there to guard federal buildings, and to mostly be a show force, and stand down. Let the police in National Guard handle the bulk of it.

That's fine with me. But this has been a long time coming. We can't have mobs roaming streets, burning and looting. I can say with 100% certainty that if Harris was president she wouldn't have Federalized the National Guard nor would Newsom have sent them in. They'd have let L.A. burn. Except it wouldn't have burned because the open border policy would still be in place and criminal aliens would still be raping and murdering citizens while the Left spouts platitudes about social justice. Sometimes it's optics be damned, do the right thing.
