Had a co-worker who filed bankruptcy , he had to list all assets to show the court of what he and his wife owned. A little over a year later , he claimed that while on vacation, one of his crack head daughters ( 2 ) stole some jewelry. The insurance company checked into his bankruptcy filing and no jewelry was listed. His excuse was that he was only following the advise of his bankruptcy lawyer when he made the required asset list. If you are going to steal and then lie at least make up something more believable.
