You disagree with that?
Fury outboxed Wilder in the first fight but got knocked down twice so ended in a draw. Managed to get a good shot in early this second fight that affected Wilder to the point he looked dazed until fight was stopped. These guys do get drug tested so if Wilder was "drugged" it'll come out. More likely he's used to knocking people out and not used to a guy who has superior defense and who got in a good shot. They have a clause for a third fight and Wilder may very well knock Fury out next time. But give Fury his due. He's a solid fighter.

I mean if it makes you feel better, neither one would've lasted 60 seconds with Iron Mike in his prime. Btw, wtf is up with Fury licking blood off of Wilder's neck?

Yeah, that was weird. Mike was the best, no doubt. These guys were guaranteed $25 million each plus a share of the proceeds. If that doesn't get some potentially great fighters into the sport boxing will never again be as great as it once was.

The best fighters don't start boxing because of the $, they start because of the love for the sport. Mike's career went bad once he started doing it for the $ and listening to the wrong people.

True, but most young men concentrate on football or basketball, at least in the States, and most never make the pro's. Hearing how much these guys make, and let's face it they aren't the same caliber as past champions, might make some great athletes consider trying it.

The prospects for going pro and making $millions in boxing is even less than football or basketball. It takes a lot more than athletic ability to make it big in boxing.

Did you invent boxing? Of course it takes talent and hard work and desire and all of that. But those big time boxers have all fought a lot of poor schmoes along the way who all thought at one point they had what it takes to make it big and live the life. One thing is for certain, since Floyd Mayweather Jr retired there doesn't seem to be any boxers of that caliber around. Maybe Golovkin, but he's looking old.
