Back on topic , I heard an analyst say Google would welcome the regulatory oversight since it would make it difficult for startups to get a foothold and compete with them

That’s pretty common. It’s like Amazon is all for having to pay states sales tax, it’s an easy lift for them, not so much for a startup.

Trump doesn’t use e-mail, I sincerely doubt he knows what a ‘search algorithm’ is.
