really? The ibt just raised the dues from 2 to 2.5 hours for our part timers in the last year.
Actually The IBT raised the dues rate in 2002 at the "special" convention. If your PT's weren't paying 2.5x it's because their wage was less than $11 per hour or your local was not collecting the correct amount. The auditor Scott Hilton cleverly caught this mistake and noted the shortage. But you already know this Don so why the act?
Zuckerman and Bolton could have kept this game going if they would have paid per capita on the pt's at the 2.5 rate but then L89 would lose dues revenue. And someone wants Zuckerman to lead the IBT? LOL

Ken anyone imagine who will go up against hall Sell-Out Slate in 2016?

Fred Z, Sandy Pope, Tim S, Juan Campos, Tom L, Butch Lewis etc... the list goes on and on of pissed off reformers!

Ken "the flipper" Hall and his Old Guard will lose in 2016!
Bring out those bust outs & retreads. hall Sean O'Brian. Got them.

Actually you are wrong. Zuckerman went to hoffa in 02 and got a waiver from the ibt, keeping the part time dues at 2x. The auditor and the ibt made Zuckerman go to 2.5x. Local 89 tried to get relief for the part timers after the audit. The letters between local 89 and hall are posted on the 89 website. HALL HAS SENT A LETTER TO 89 MEMBERS, IN THE LAST FEW DAYS, TRYING TO BLAME 89 FOR THE DUES INCREASE. LOL. HALL HAS HAD KNOWLEDGE OF THIS FOR SEVERAL MONTHS, BUT WAITS TO TRY TO BLAME 89, RIGHT AFTER 89 DENOUNCES THE TENTATIVE AGREEMENT. INTERESTING TIMING, DON'T YOU THINK. HALL IS REALLY PROUD OF THE RETAILIATION LANGUAGE IN THE TA. IF HE IS RETAILIATING AGAINST 89 AND USING DUES MONEY TO MAKE THESE LETTERS AND PAY POSTAGE TO SEND THEM, I HAVE THE OPINION, THAT HE SHOULD BE BANNED FROM THIS UNION. OUR DUES SHOULD NOT PAY FOR hall OR ANYONE ELSE'S POLITICAL AGENDAS.

Zuckerman is a sore loser who's local lost out on the vote for their supplement. He has an ax to grind at the expense of his members. He's a jerk who only care about his political objective. Him for president. Fruck that he is a retread.

who are you ? Sean is a stand up union guy!!! I believe he can lead the teamsters into the future

He sure was not a "stand up" guy when he dealt with the supplements. Lol
BY THE WAY, I AM DON CUMMINGS
Yeah, the supplements he handled got PTers to more hours instead of using outside people. He got people making top rate on TAW. He got the PTers to reduce the new 4 year progression while driving. In the words of my esteemed brethren 407,"Your a troll SON!"

The company, on tuesday, submitted the last, best and final offer to one of these supplements. The offer is sub standard. Just like the national, and central are.
