Can a building manager follow you and tell you that you have to wear your cleats and you need to scan your packages on way to stop even though your trying to cross a road and battle ice and snow banks?

They follow drivers all the time, this is nothing new and they can do it. They can suggest whatever they want. If they try to write you up for stuff like that you just tell them you are trying to work as safe as possible. Scanning as you walk across busy roads and on ice does not seem safe.

When all else fails, just tell them you are trying to work as safe as possible. They won't have an answer for that.

If the OP is all uptight over something as silly as this he is in for a LONG career at UPS. Harassment is the name of the game. Let it go in one ear and out the other.

Tell him you don't understand what he is explaining for you to deliver. He will need to demonstrate each task to you for at least a dozen stops. Then if he does actually do it. You critique his methods. Cause he to will never be able to continuously follow them with changing conditions at every stop. They are all different. The only way to do it is to slow down and concentrate on each method. But, for me. If they start to try to harass one second. Time for lunch break. Then as you sit and relax. You can see the anger and anxiety rise. PRICELESS!!

If a supervisor tells you to do something then do it or else you’ll get written up. Will you lose your job? Probably not. It’s like you’re playing a video game with infinite lives. Doing what you’re told is basically so you don’t have to deal with management.

Contra only gave you 30 lives instead of infinite.
