When does rhetoric begin to hurt children? When do the words of parents sitting around the dinner table, or while family and friends are visiting talking to each other spreading the hatred of racism affect their children??

This video is disturbing. The girls in the video were expelled from the school district where they live (gainesville), they have received death threats, their families are recieving death threats, the police have to watch their homes as there parents prepare to move out of town. Is Racial hatred really this common?

How many would want to bet that these girls parents are republicans or tea party members?

Racism still exists in this country in some homes. Ignorance will never go away. In order for these girls to speak so comfortably like they did, they would have had to had a comfort level at home for such speaking that would make them feel that it was ok to memorialize their feelings on video and post it on youtube for the whole world to see.

Actually I listened a second time...more thoroughly. the girls may not be very eloquent, but they do make some valid points. The stuff they were reading off the internet, the hate mail had most of the racial slurs in it.

Maybe you meant the one where they say that more blacks on on welfare than whites? even though thats just not true and white people make up the majority of welfare recipients in this country. Maybe you meant where black teens just look to have children out of wedlock just to get a welfare check, oh wait, do you watch TEEN MOM on MTV, there almost all white teens knocked up and unmarried in hick towns.

Maybe the one where they say blacks commit all the crimes, or that blacks are all stupid.
