It‘s sad how bad some of these news sites are when it comes to spelling mistakes. Twice in the article they spoke of the dog’s “pin”.

Nobody else thinks it's hilarious the deputy's name is 'Barkley'?

Snappy, Barkley, and Muttley are the three names I will use to refer to a dog. When the owner corrects me as to the dog's real name, I often continue referring to the dog in that manner as if I did not hear the correction.
