It is cold and nasty here today too. No snow but it looks like it could rain.

It is supposed to turn to freezing rain then rain then snow again... all in less than 24 hrs..... Gawd I love spring!

I know when spring is here:

1. The mesquite starts budding. That is the #1 indicator here.
2. The weeds start popping up and over night I can't see my neighbors house. LOL

Here also, Mesquites don't get fooled by fake spring weather, won't bloom til after the last freeze of the season.

We have had warm weather off and on for a few weeks now. The mesqiutes are just not starting to bud. I fairly certain we are past our last freeze. This morning I got up to wind and cold. It cleared up, is sunny and 75 outside. Beautiful spring weather. Bet you New Englanders are jealous. and anyone else getting snow still. LOL
