How many here are in "Bonus" Centers?

Upsdriver88 started the thread about asking how many bonus centers are out there, than he just wanted to fire it up a bit: steward, lazy coworkers, keep fighting for them, 3 hours under, cheating the system... what's next?
I am guessing you are not really planning to do 25 years or more with the company.

By myself, I do 25 stops an hour. With a helper, I do 45. My route is about as tight as they come. Today, 8 hours with a helper, 340 stops, 488 pieces, 91 miles. 21 pickups, (most are on route) 150 pieces. That will be about a 2 hour bonus.

Those are your stats, not how you do it.
I'm interested to know what you do to beat the time study by 2 hours.
By the numbers you have provided you are beating the standards of your route's time study by an average of 20 seconds per stop.
How is that possible per the methods?

Your asking me how that is possible. What am I supposed to say? I dont know how the time study works. If I am looking for a package, I am sorting until I find it. If I find a package is out of place, I dont leave it there... I put it in sequence. I am amazed at how many drivers at 4 pm still have a truck with no organization. How long did you have the helper for? If all 8 hrs, that's about 45stops/hr, 80pcs/hr, which sounds just OK for a "tight" area. Seems to me you got a good study for now, I would take advantage and maybe not work so hard. 25 stops an hour, even if its just JCP bags, over a few years will take a toll on your body. Your allowance is giving you some leeway, take advantage every once and awhile if you like. For sure, good luck and stay safe.

I was "feeling" it. Fortunately, I have been put in a power steering automatic with a low step. .

Happened to me in reverse. I can't help it that the bid driver came in 1.5 hour early every single day to set the truck up. That could be one answer.

Assuming that the subs are all doing their job by the book (around here a lot of cover drivers are lunch skippers), then the bid driver is probably slacking and stealing. That's the kind of stealing that gets a center team's attention though

Every person who hates the bonus, uses the same excuses, I'm not killing myself, I"m not short change customers, I'm not running, I'm not skipping lunch,....the key words here are "I'm not". Whatever. I know what I make, I know my pace, and I know that when I'm home with my family getting paid, some lazy ass is still out there talking about what he/she is not going to do. I'm in my prime earning years, and I'm going to earn as much $$$ as possible. And I waited 8 years to get my job, I shouldn't have to take a pay cut to make someone else a full time job if it's not already there. Or is socialism really the best way? I think not.

As routes were cut that went up to 55 and as of the last 3 weeks, I've been pushing 60 paid hours. You figure it out, I have no reason to lie.

As a poker player I routinely play in games where I have to make calls that are more than I make in a week as a UPS driver. I have to decide when I think a person is lying or in poker bluffing.

In this case he uses the $ 83636 number to show how much he is making. That number is what he would make in a YEAR at 50 hours a week exactly. He obviously did the math.

Why not just use his real gross pay to this point. He 's a liar.

I can only speak for myself and tell you I do my job the way it's suppose to be done, dr back door if neede, bag with DR bags, answers questions if needed, and I still run under everyday so as a stock holder go get a LIFE.
