Any chatter on ups getting rid of human resource employees?
They are useless. Our HR person would come in after the drivers had left and be gone before they returned. Why would they get rid of them
Ours breaks down crying anytime you ask her a question or to do something and I'm not exaggerating either. They are useless. Our HR person would come in after the drivers had left and be gone before they returned.
Fixed it for youGood time or good time?
Center managers, “safety teams” and a slew of other worthless salaried positions in the hubs should be axed. That money could be used to invest in infrastructure.

well said union brotherCenter managers, “safety teams” and a slew of other worthless salaried positions in the hubs should be axed. That money could be used to invest in infrastructure.
I heard most PT stays.Buy outs began months ago. Some stayed on. Most HR positions are being outsourced. Beginning of next year there will be no HR except from out of Atlanta. That's what we were told.
I think we don't need to have so many FT supes running around. Center Manager, Preload Manager, Twilight/whatever else the main shifts are. In our center, we have the Preload Manager + 2 additional FT managers running around, then 7 belt supes (2 for training) + smalls/unload/irregs... It gets to be a bit much.
What CAN go are the OMS people in the afternoon. The evening/morning ones are more vital in terms of calling customers for follow-ups and communicating with drivers in the morning. I don't need a glorified receptionist barking orders at me over a message when I can just ignore her and go about my day without any consequence.
Agree. i was shocked the midday OMS when I was in package found her way to work everyday. That’s how dumb she was.I think we don't need to have so many FT supes running around. Stop asking her to bake cookies!!!Ours breaks down crying anytime you ask her a question or to do something and I'm not exaggerating either.
She can't handle the job. It's kind of the running joke now even with management.Stop asking her to bake cookies!!!
One of my HR guys said he has taken a pay cut because "you union guys are taking all of the money." BS. Until the CEO takes a pay cut, nobody should have to take a pay cut. Even if they're mgmt!!!Any chatter on ups getting rid of human resource employees?
