I'm staying here for another peak because they are flexible with my start times & i don't have to worry about RTB times (i can take the vehicle straight home)

i'm not being forced to work with purple; the local managers don't ride my ass for any little thing. Express and Ground is a different matter.

when i found out that i wasn't going to be a brown driver anytime soon when i started in the warehouse, i moved on...

the OP has found a path that will at least have better bennies/pay in the long run if he sticks it out

other purple team members did switch to brown as an outside-hire due to the 6-to-1 ratio or whatever is on that local hiring process & bypassed the package handling portion

To understand this thread and how you guys are beating down on the OP, you should understand this. This thread was originally posted on the fedex forum. A MOD moved it to the general ups forum, thinking maybe the OP put it in the wrong place. I think the Op was telling the fedex guys "hey! I'm proud to be with UPS now." Nice welcome guys.
