For a 25th wedding anniversary which is customary to give something made of silver, I did something not traditional.
I found a silversmith and bought a bar of silver and asked him to rough it up.
He melted it down to a blob, added some pieces of extra chain and other bits to it.
I instructed the couple to make it into something they would like.
To this day, it is still sitting on a shelf as is.
