Some of marxs solutions were wrong.

Capiralism never kills right?
Capitalism isn't perfect but it has brought more people out of poverty than any other system in history. Your problem is you think everyone can live well with a lot of leisure time and minimal effort put in. It's a fantasy you've bought into.

Slavery improved standards of living so your first assertion is moot

Standards of living are falling now

Its dishonest to say youve never pretended to work as a capitalist employee

My friends got drunk on the job, we chat, do as little work as possible to keep our jobs including pretending to work, etc all under capitalism
I worked for a company that watched everything closely and demanded productivity. It's called helping your company succeed. I would hope someone like you would get fired very quickly from my company and I've seen a few that have. You think you're clever and sticking it to the man but all you're doing is showing the lack of character you have. Paychecks don't just happen. Most have to work so that the company can make enough to pay everyone. You think you're above it all but you aren't above taking their money. Money provided to you by the efforts of your co-workers. How pathetic.

Its more accurately called making the capitalist more money and not being recognized for it.

I am sortve clever actually

What do you mean money provided by the efforts of coworkers lol? Are you agreeing with me that workers create the profits not owners

I remind my mom of my dad and she doesnt like it when im too cocky about my hot gf

So your argument is that slavery improves standards of living for the enslaved if the “owners” treat them well? Are you pro-slavery under that condition then?
Slavery improved standards of living so your first assertion is moot

Standards of living are falling now
Standards of living improving is no justification for a system

Slaves in 1850 had better standards than 1750

There are many levels of employees who are paid according to the benefit they give the company. And the owners of corporations are stockholders. Own a share of stock? That entitles you to a dividend if one is paid. It also allows you a vote in how the company is run. You're an employee? That entitles you to a paycheck to support yourself. Don't like your paycheck? Then get training in something that will get you a better job at your company or elsewhere. Yes, you do own your labor. Your timecard is your bill to your company for the labor you performed. It does not entitle you to tell a company owner how to run his business. And that a grown man has to have this explained to him is pathetic.

Because it was 1850 and not 1750.

So it's still strange that you're saying slavery improves standards of living for the enslaved if their "owners" are nice. That naturally implies that you believe slavery is a good thing under that condition.

I think you're stuck because you're always referring to workers under capitalism as the enslaved. And it's clear that capitalism has raised standards of living for workers. So you have to try and pretend that chattel slavery and workers under capitalism are the same thing.

Employees are not paid based on benefit to the company.

Power corrupts. That means were entitled to have a share of that power so we dont become victims of it, as we currently are

Capitalism also raised standards of living which again is no justification for it

So by your reasoning communism is fine even if it doesn't raise the standard of living. So being miserable together to you is ok as long as everyone is equal. It apparently gets under your skin that people live comfortably in 1500 sq ft homes with plenty.to eat, decent clothes to wear but they don't have the 10,000 sq ft home the rich guy has plus all his expensive vehicles and toys. That's the world that capitalism gets for most but to you it isn't fair. How dare that rich guy have it so much better than you!

No I didn't. It was said in the video you linked me to when I asked how you think slavery improved standards of living for slaves.

You think slavery improved standards of living for slaves?
It did as a fact.

They most certainly are. If you have a skill anyone can do you get mediocre pay. If you have a skill that is in demand that will help your company make money they will pay you better than the mediocre employees. Fact of life.
