i was just wondering how much the union initiation fee was..i thought it was $250 but they still took out another 20 this week so im up to $270. thanks.

The initiation fee varies from local to local---the best place to get your question answered is your union local.

The initiation fee in my area is $400 they take $25 out of your check each until you reach $400 except the weeks you pay your union dues.

this past week was union dues..I am assuming you are a new employee so it would seem the 20 was your monthly dues. Does it say initiation fee? or union dues by the deduction?
