interview/tour

well after several months of trying to apply online i got an interview/tour for next month(dont know why so late). what happens at these interview/tours? do you think ill be hired on that particular day? how does the hiring process work for UPS in california? thanks for any responses.

Mine was a long time ago, but I see my boss and HR guy doing tours now and then- they walk you through the building, show you the different areas and explain the job. After the tour, they all go into the office and set up interview times if they're still interested.

The tour is really just that.. a tour of the facility and it's many job duties... Also it's a way for mgmt to weed out those that may be opposed to hard work.
