Of course it was the driver's fault. He should have read the buck's mind and anticipated that it wanted to cross the road. I wonder if he gutted it and had the head mounted?

The driver did the right thing by not swerving, potentially causing a worse accident. Really gets the heart pumping though.

You kidding? If you're off the clock sitting at home and the car shifter hits the truck. That was avoidable, you should've left the truck at the assembly plant.

Actually deer collisions are very serious. I had one jump a fence and bounce off the side of my P5 about ten years ago when I was on a country route. I have known about a half dozen people whose car was totaled out when they hit one. A few years ago near my house, a woman and her daughter were killed when the deer went through the windshield and out the rear window of their car. We have a large deer population, and with all this development, there is less habitat for them to live in.
