Just set up a new nexus 6 (the only phone currently compatible with project fi) and ported my phone number from tmobile to project fi. I'm going to give them a couple of months to see if the service coverage around here is better and / or the bill is lower. If not I'll switch back. Not sure about the new phone yet, I'm still really fond of my note 4...

So I've been using Project fi for a little over a month and the overall experience has been good. The coverage is good and my bill for 8-23 to 9-23 was $25.42 which is less than half of what my monthly charges were on tmobile. If there's a downside I haven't found it yet. My one complaint is that the only phone that works with project fi is still the nexus 6. Not a bad phone, but I really really liked my note 4.

On 9-23 google surprised me with a really nice gift for being an early adopter:

I just recently got a Note 5...

I upgraded from a Droid X2... had that phone for almost 4 years...

This new phone... Absolutely amazing, I love it lol

Technology has come a long way since my last phone. Lost my unlimited data, though :(
