Jury Duty pay for Cover drivers?

I searched the forum and several threads mentioned jury duty but none mentioned my particular issue. I'm a part-time cover driver. What do I get paid? I work every day as a cover driver and have way over the 156 reports needed from the previous year so I get vacations, option days, holidays, etc. paid as a cover driver. Anyone know if I'll get paid at my part-time hub rate or at my cover driver rate? I'm in the Southern region. (Atlanta) Thanks in advance!

unless something in your supplement specifies otherwise, I would say you would get part time pay for however long the contract specifies you are covered by..... generally 4 hrs paid per guaranteed day

Make sure you give them a copy of the jury duty paper work so they don't forget to pay you the difference!

What difference? You have to tell them at jury duty that you are being paid by your job and that you are forfeiting your jury duty pay.

I always thought New Jersey did things different but now I can add New York to my different list!
