A new site is just as worthless without the data from here.

Everything else can be replicated quite easily.

If there is no Admin then it won't work right. Someone besides a Moderator has to be paying attention which obviously isn't happening.

Not necessarily. I’d at least give the new home a try.

Why is the site dying?

All the reasons discussed here before. And now technical issues as well.

Either way…..it’s kinda sad to see it fading away. I was 21 when I originally started posting here. Now I’m almost 50 but still remember some of the OGs. Many of which left a long time ago simple because they were fed up with what it became. Or just outgrew it I guess.

There absolutely will be data lost. And at least three threads of useful information that didn’t get derailed.

But if you keep the people together, the community stays alive. Or most of it.
