having a labor meeting next week.. does anyone know what to expect in one?
What’s your job title?
There will be lots of arguing, lots of promises made and when the dust settles nothing will have been accomplished.
A waste of time.
i have a combo job air driver and warehouse. they owe me money
Don’t talk too much.
If you are smart and know how to speak well, it’s sometimes better to talk more. Know your iq, if your dumb stfu and let your ba handle everything.
My few meetings with labor, I talked tons, had tons of dates, notes and greviences pertaining to the issue. My ba stayed quite for the most part because he saw I knew what I was doing.
And when they say would you like to cut a deal
Hell no. You already won it
That's when the BA wants to settle so it won't go to panel.
Settle down rookie
If they want to make a deal, stand your ground.
They wouldnt offer you a penny if they thought they could win.
I know that. But it's less work for your BA to settle at the local level than go to panel so SOME (or at least my) BA's will push to settle.
Every time I had a local labor meeting, our hub hr manager actually pulled my center manager out of the meeting to talk to him because it looked so bad. If you are going to try to stick up for your rights, you better have tons of notes and you better file for every instance of retaliation and harassment and state on the said greviences the grevience number that your perception of these accusations come from.
That's what we pay them for.
No grades for spelling.
Why would the BA care.... other than not wanting his members, to look like idiots ?
It would be a chicken wing celebration....
they owe me 10 grand because I was doing ground deliveries and i'm a air driver.
Did you file each time?
Bring JG Wentworth with you. He’ll make sure you get your money NOW!
