I am thinking of becoming a ups driver and I am very concerned on how the drivers know where to go and if it is difficult learning how to get around the city without a gps . Do you have to know your streets and all? Do you have gps that’s tells directs you stop by stop?

No problem at all, we have a gps built into diads and all our routes are in perfect delivery order thanks to Orion. It’s pretty fool proof.

All of the stops are in the Diad board in most places it is lined up in ORION order.When you first go out with a sup he will teach you most of what you need to know.If you still have questions after that ask the other drivers.

Most of drivers used Magic Wands, and the Magic Word. "Abacadabra". Hope that works.

If you gotta use gps, you might as well not go driving. Get phone book with maps, if you still need map after three days on a route, better go back and get a degree

I know a driver who don't used maps only GPS. Weird eh. He told me maps is an antique way we are in 2018. Hmm...Interesting.

Honest advice: RELAX. Learning the routes are the easiest part. You have plenty of tools to help you. If you have a rural route get a plat book from the county offices.

Just curious, how would this guy do on a rural route without 911 addresses and only an old school cardfile?
